The marble top is treated with a transparent polyester finish which makes the surface more resistant, preventing it from absorbing liquids. · Semi-brilliant marble. The marble top surface is treated with a protective water-repellent solution which gives it a more natural look. Marquinia marble with natural glossy finish. The Marquinia black marble slab is characterised by a particular graphic effect that is achieved through scoring to simulate a pattern of multiple tiles of various widths. The glossy finish of the tops is created through a brushing process which gives the stone a more natural appearance, highlighting its characteristic veins.
