Materials

· Supporting structure. Made of solid Canaletto walnut. It comprises two toothed supports, with a special rack joint, and four vertical pillars with regular holes drilling that allows to assemble the 12 shelves. · Shelves. In MDF veneered with Canaletto walnut. · Screws. Made of brass. · Fixing. Is guaranteed by the anchoring of two fixing ferrules; the upper one is secured to the ceiling and the lower one on the floor. · Fixing ferrules. They are assembled at the end of the toothed supports. The upper ferrule is inserted inside a “cup”, which is anchored to the ceiling. The lower ferrule secures the structure to the ground with a slip-resistant rubber. The bookcase is secured in position by four adjustable metal locknuts in the fixing ferrules (two upper and two lower). Fixing elements (ferrules and cup) finishing. Made of antiqued burnished · Rotation. The bookcase can be turned 360° around its axis. · Aesthetic details. The designer’s signature and the Poltrona Frau logo are laser engraved on the lower toothed support. · Saddle-leather pad. Optional. The top of the shelves can be embellished and protected by a Cuoio Saddle Extra leather insert 4 mm thick with matching edge. The insert is hand-engraved around the edge and branded with the Poltrona Frau logo.
