All the top versions are screwed to the frame through a 3 mm thick plate. Floor support provided by plastic feet. Wood top: beveled top in 20 mm thick MDF in matte black finish or veneered, in the upper part only, in charcoal-dyed oak or Stone Oak® and water-based acrylic coating; or tobacco-dyed oak with acrylic coating; edges and bottom always painted in matte black. Marble top: beveled top in 15 mm thick coupled with a 2 mm thick metal sheet support with epoxy polyester powder coating in Gunmetal grey color. Porcelain stoneware top: shaped tabletop (12 mm thick, straight edge), available in the finishes of the collection. Wood is a living material; therefore, it can have slight color and dimension changes. The presence of any non-homogeneous color shades is not to be considered a defect but a quality. Please note that the direct sunlight exposure may alter the wood color; therefore, we recommend the periodic position shift of the objects placed on the furniture for the first months to avoid differences in shades between exposed and covered portions. STONE OAK®: this wood owes its particular coloring to an entirely natural process. Because of this, some slabs may look more brown than others. Our commitment is to provide you a high-quality product; any differences in color should not be considered as defects. On request, with a surcharge of 3%, an additional protective (acrylic solvent) painting is available for the Stone Oak® finishing only. It should be noted that this additional coating slightly changes the natural color and texture of the surface. Although this supplementary painting increases the surface resistance, it is still a natural material; therefore, small superficial stains, due to oil or other substances, must be promptly removed, before being absorbed in depth by the wood. Thus, we recommend regular care and maintenance. PORCELAIN STONEWARE: Porcelain stoneware is an extremely dense ceramic material obtained by mixing various natural raw materials, such as clay and sand, and fired at high temperatures to make it waterproof and non-porous. The resulting surfaces have an absorption rate of less than 0.5%. Porcelain stoneware is known for its durability, characterized by a surface hardness that makes it resistant to wear, scratches, and most physical and mechanical stresses. In addition, it is a safe material, resistant to high temperatures and thermal shocks, and NSF certified for direct food contact. Porcelain stoneware slabs do not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can be potentially toxic to humans and the environment, nor do they contain formaldehyde. They are also free from PVC, plastics, or petroleum derivatives. For the marble top version please specify the required finish in the order. For marble finishing with opaque matt polyester finish, the “Marble” Maintenance Kit is included with the product.
